I am delighted to introduce myself as Zulaiha Bashiru, a proud midwifery student at the Central College of Science and Technology and a grateful recipient of the Moringa Community Organization scholarship. I'm eager to share my journey with you and highlight my commitment to serving our healthcare facility and community.

Dr. Tom, your support has made an immeasurable difference in my life, and I am deeply thankful for your kindness. This scholarship has not only alleviated the financial burden on my family but has also inspired me to strive tirelessly toward my academic goals. I am fully committed to making the most of this opportunity and excelling in my studies, with the aspiration to work alongside you after graduation to help advance the mission of the Moringa Community Organization.
Growing up in Effiakuma, a town in Ghana's Western Region, I was raised in a close-knit Islamic family with four siblings. From a young age, I have been driven by a profound passion for improving the lives of others.
This calling guided me toward a career in midwifery, where I can make a tangible difference in maternal and child health within our community. Throughout my academic journey, I have dedicated myself to excellence and to making a positive, lasting impact.
Before receiving this scholarship, I was actively involved in volunteer work at the Moringa Community School of Trade. These experiences broadened my horizons and deepened my sense of purpose and responsibility. Volunteering not only reinforced my commitment to service but also instilled in me the importance of giving back to the community that has nurtured me.
