Despite all the challenges the year 2020 has brought to the world as a result of the corona virus, there are some achievements made. The Moringa Community School of Trade (MCSOT) has been working for the past years to get an accreditation certificate from the National VOCATIONAL Training Institute (NVTI) under the Ghana Education Service (GES) and finally we have been granted
This certificate will allow us to admit students all over the country. Students can also be placed or posted to the school through the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) when the results of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results are released.

One major setback of the school for which this accreditation seeks to solve is Examination center. Over the years, students are registered with a sister vocational school because the total population doesn't guarantee a permit to write external examinations in the school. Students have to move from the school premises to the premises of the sister vocational school to write their external exams. As this accreditation will increase our student population, the enrollment of students will now guarantee that the school be made an examination center. This will save a lot of cost as students are charged exorbitant fees for registration. As we have been given the accreditation, it means the inspections made by Monitoring and Evaluation team from the district office of the GES and the officials from the regional NVTI, Cape Coast meet the standard or criteria of the NVTI.
